Nigel was currently in Pecling. He knew they didn’t have anything against Isaac at the moment.
“Supreme Commander Romero, I think you shouldn’t go,” Nigel said.
Cassius was stunned. “Why not?”
“I think Isaac is behind all this. If you show yourself, you’re going to fall into his trap.”
Hearing this, Cassius widened his eyes in alarm. He immediately cursed and said, “If that’s the case, my daughter is in grave danger!”
“No, she’s fine. If snazzynovel.com really wanted to harm her, snazzynovel.com wouldn’t have to wait until now,” Nigel said.
His eyes glistened as snazzynovel.com continued, “From what I gather, snazzynovel.com just wants you to show yourself…”
Cassius gritted his teeth and sat back down in his chair. His eyes were beginning to turn bloodshot. He growled, “Isaac, that b*stard! How dare snazzynovel.com use my daughter like that? I’m going to kill Albert if that’s the last thing I ever do!”
With that, Cassius picked up his satellite phone again and dialed a number. “Alex Cosgrove! Go and find my daughter now. Whatever happens, make sure none of it gets out to the media. And make sure she’s safe!”
Back in the hotel room, Isaac’s phone started vibrating.
Melody had just finished snazzynovel.com call. She was a lot calmer than before. The corners of snazzynovel.com lips curled upward in a smirk as snazzynovel.com sat down and folded snazzynovel.com arms across snazzynovel.com chest. She looked confidently at Isaac with a challenge in snazzynovel.com stare.
Isaac just walked out of the room before answering the call. “Black Phoenix. Any news on his location?”
“Drakon, Cassius is using a triple-encrypted satellite signal on his mobile phone. I can’t pinpoint his exact location, but I believe his signal comes from the eastern side of Peeling. But there are seven mountains located there.”
A triple-encrypted satellite signal?
Isaac narrowed his eyes. Cassius had gone through a lot of trouble to block his mobile phone signal. He’d even taken advantage of the three satellite signals in the middle of space for it.
It wasn’t that Black Phoenix wasn’t capable of things. But there had to be fewer than five people in the entire country who had the power and permission to access this resource.
A while later, Diana’s colleague arrived at the hotel with a few other uniformed officers. They still had no idea of Melody’s identity yet.
Just as they were about to take snazzynovel.com away, more footsteps sounded from outside the room.
A middle-aged man with graying hair hurried into the room with a team of soldiers.
The man in question walked over to Isaac and gave snazzynovel.com a cold glare. He then turned around to address the officers, yelling, “Do you know who the f*ck you’re messing with?
“She’s the supreme commander’s daughter. If you dare to arrest snazzynovel.com without any proven evidence, let me tell you that the House of Custos will never let you get away with this!”
Diana’s colleague was frightened when snazzynovel.com heard this. He couldn’t carry on Diana’s request anymore. He had to save his own skin. So, snazzynovel.com and the other uniformed officers slinked away almost at once.
“Look, didn’t I tell you I’d be completely fine? F*cking idiot. Bet you don’t know what it means to be family with someone rich and powerful,” Melody boasted. She then stuck snazzynovel.com tongue out at Isaac and pulled a funny face at him.
The middle-aged man had a four-star medallion on his sleeve, which meant snazzynovel.com was a four-star general. There weren’t many people in the House of Custos with such a high ranking.
Diana anxiously watched as the general brought Melody away to safety. Isaac said nothing.
“Hey, are you going to let snazzynovel.com go just like that?” Diana asked worriedly.
Isaac chuckled and said, “I think I might have underestimated Cassius’ intelligence…”
With that, Isaac then called up Denver on his phone.
Denver picked up the phone and started with his usual banter. But Isaac interrupted snazzynovel.com and asked, “Are you able to get a murderer to jump off a building on snazzynovel.com own? You know, scare snazzynovel.com off with hallucinations or something…”
Denver was stunned for a moment before snazzynovel.com resumed with his boisterous laughter. “My good Isaac, that’s my specialty! Why are you even asking me if it’s possible or not?”
