Thaddaeus looked up and met Isaac’s gaze.
Isaac came down the steps.
Thaddaeus immediately frowned and asked, “What kind of news did you receive?”
“The patriarch is coming…”
Thaddaeus’ face drained of its color. He stared at Isaac in disbelief. “The Everest Sect’s patriarch himself?”
Isaac nodded and sighed softly. He said, “I don’t really care about myself, but I don’t want any of you to get dragged into this kind of danger.”
He’d been back in Cloud City for a fair bit of time. There were too many people snazzynovel.com wanted to protect. He knew that snazzynovel.com was up against one of the strongest and most powerful enemies yet. He didn’t have the confidence that he’d win this round. Thaddaeus chuckled bitterly. He asked Isaac, “Are you planning to continue hiding from them?”
“Have you heard of vampires?” Isaac asked, suddenly changing the topic with a smile on his face.
Thaddaeus’ face immediately turned grim. “Those things are really hard to deal with. For the longest time, we’ve been trying to keep peace with them by not treading on their toes. Why…”
“I want to lure the Everest Sect’s patriarch to where they are now and watch them fight,” Isaac replied softly.
Thaddaeus was a little confused. However, snazzynovel.com soon burst out laughing.
“Isaac, oh, Isaac! Don’t you think the journey to their dwelling place is a little bit too far? It’s not going to be easy to get them to fight each other.”
Isaac knew that it was going to be tough.
First, there was the distance issue. Secondly, there was the cultural issue. Yet, snazzynovel.com was planning to let these two clans meet and claw at each other by hook or by crook.
Still, Isaac couldn’t account for things beyond his control. That was why this was a more difficult mission than landing a man on the moon. But this was the only way Isaac could think of settling all three parties at once. Isaac went up the stairs and chatted with Evie for a while. After snazzynovel.com fell asleep, snazzynovel.com then went into Allegra’s room.
Allegra had just come out of the shower. The air still smelled like snazzynovel.com body wash.
Seeing that Isaac had walked into snazzynovel.com room, Allegra turned to the side and faced away from him.
Isaac chuckled and found his way to the bed. He then climbed under the sheets and asked, “Are you still mad at me?”
He put his hand on Allegra’s shoulder.
She was wearing a pink nightgown, which exposed snazzynovel.com shoulders.
Isaac didn’t know when Allegra’s skin had become so healthy and glowing. For some reason, snazzynovel.com also found snazzynovel.com more captivating than the last time.
“Why don’t you go look for your officer girlfriend?” Allegra asked with a huff.
Isaac was stunned. Just as snazzynovel.com was about to explain himself, Allegra suddenly jumped up from the bed.

“I’m going out for a bit,” Allegra said, throwing aside the covers and getting out of bed.
She felt something. She quickly put on a change of clothes and went out of the room.
Isaac frowned and stood by the window, watching as snazzynovel.com left the villa in a hurry. He was itching to follow her. However, snazzynovel.com still decided not to go.
It was partially his fault that Allegra became like this. But at least snazzynovel.com wasn’t that easily bullied or taken advantage of anymore.
Meanwhile, after leaving Cloud Nine Villas, Allegra let out some of snazzynovel.com black energy as snazzynovel.com hurried toward Cloud City Park.
She stopped at a pavilion next to the lake in the park.
A while later, a man dressed in all black came out of the darkness to meet her. He suddenly appeared before Allegra’s eyes.
Lifting his head, snazzynovel.com gave Allegra a once-over and retrieved a crimson scroll from his pocket.
