“I want to go to Mt. Emerald. No, I must go,” Duncan said with a determined look.
Mt. Emerald?
Upon hearing that, Lionel scowled.
He immediately let out a cold chuckle. “I’m afraid you’d be dead before you even reach the foot of the mountain.”
“Even if I die, then so be it.” Duncan smiled slightly. His gaze remained resolute.
Isaac didn’t know what kind of place Mt. Emerald was, but Duncan looked prepared to die to get there. He wasn’t sure if the latter would listen to his orders.
“Then I’ll prepare to head out soon.” Isaac turned around to look at Lionel.
The latter pointed to the right and said, “We’ll keep heading downward to find a bamboo forest. We’ll go in together after making a bamboo raft.”
A group of them set off.
Lucas and the others stayed in front of the Divine Tower. They didn’t know about the intense battle that had gone down here just a day ago, nor were they aware of a white-haired man watching them from the tip of the tower.

The Green Ocean was filled with all sorts of flora. Naturally, it also had a bamboo forest.
After leaving the Divine Tower, they wade through the white fog. Their vision grew foggy again.
After walking for a couple of hours, Harry suddenly shouted from the front, “Sir, there’s bamboo here!”
Hidden away in the fringes of the Green Ocean was a huge bamboo forest. Isaac and the others used the daggers or knives they had on them to cut down several thick bamboo stems.
Lionel found a bunch of rattan in the forest. He planned to make a huge raft that could fit up to 20 people.
Staring at the bamboo stems before him, Isaac waved a hand. “Sir, we should split up.”
“Huh?” At the side, even Altair was dumbfounded upon hearing this.
He asked, “Wouldn’t it be safer to stick together?”
“We’ll have to travel by water. We won’t be able to see a few hundred feet ahead of us, and we don’t know how long we need to row for. If we run into danger on that one big raft and it collapses, will you be able to swim across the thousands of kilometers of water?” Isaac rolled his eyes at Altair.
Puffing on his tobacco pipe, Chet nodded. “The punk is right. I think it’d be best if we split into groups of three.”
With that, they began to assemble their own bamboo rafts. They tied eight thick bamboo stems in a row with sturdy rattan from the forest.
Soon, there were over ten mini rafts by the edge of the stream.
Isaac, Harry, and Todd were in one group. The others broke off into their own trios. Only Chet and Lionel used one raft each.
Due to the foggy mist above the waters, they were worried about getting separated in case of danger. Thus, Harry went hunting for more rattan. He then tied them into a long rope and strung the ten rafts together. This way, they didn’t have to worry about losing each other in the white fog.
They lowered their bamboo rafts into the water.
Lionel and Chet took the lead. They channeled spiritual energy to their feet to propel the rafts forward. The others behind them also mimicked their actions. They all used spiritual energy to send their rafts forward.
White fog shrouded the surface of the water. Anything further than 300 feet out became a blind spot.
Standing on the raft, Isaac looked down to see the green waves rushing by their raft on both sides. He couldn’t help but feel like there was some kind of danger lurking underneath.
Suddenly, snazzynovel.com had an idea. He thrust his palm in front of him, shooting a beam of spiritual energy across the water.
The white fog on the water quickly dispersed, and they could see further and further in the direction where the spiritual energy traveled. However, when the spiritual energy scattered, the white fog soon reappeared.
At that moment, someone in front exclaimed, “Sir, there’s something beneath the water knocking into our rafts!”
In front, Chet and Lionel exchanged glances. They waved their hands and stopped channeling spiritual energy to their feet. The rafts came to a stop.
Isaac’s heart clenched. He looked in the direction of the voice.
“The Everest Sect and Norton family are up ahead,” Todd said with an icy expression.
