Smith clutched his bleeding shoulder and stumbled out to the front porch. He then shouted urgently at Rem, who was fighting Hera.

Harry nodded and prepared to administer treatment with silver needles, yet the sound of cars screeching to a halt was heard outside.
A middle-aged man with graying temples walked straight into the living room, followed by a male vampire and a female vampire with a pale complexion.
“Daemon?” The man’s expression dramatically changed when snazzynovel.com saw Daemon on the ground.

He was Rother, Daemon’s father, one of the eight dukes of the Reeqa family.
“If my son dies, I’ll have you all buried with him!” Rother then pointed at Isaac and the others.
