The three oldest churches in the Western lands, Lumen Church, Zoros Church, and Heaven Church, might have been constantly restraining the growth of the vampire forces.
But now that Cruz had died, Lumen Church had suffered a great loss of strength. The hidden forces in the darkness had found an opportunity. That was why they mounted a night raid and wiped out Lumen Church’s headquarters in one fell swoop.
