Three sharp cracks echoed through the room.
Ethan’s body jerked with a sickening crunch as Remus delivered a series of bone-shattering kicks to his shins and arms.

The onlookers were too frightened to even speak.
Only moments before, some of the onlookers would have attempted to intervene, but now they stood frozen, their very breathing slowed by the terror of the scene before them.

“You were the hero who saved her. If things had gone according to my plan, the wedding would have been canceled. But Elias said we couldn’t cancel the wedding, and snazzynovel.com insisted on framing you!”
