Old Jackson walked up to Warwick and retrieved a document from his pockets. “Owens, you’re now officially dismissed from your duties, effective immediately.”
Everyone was astounded, more so Warwick. He grabbed the document and read it thoroughly.
“What’s the meaning of this? What’s the reason for my dismissal?!” Warwick roared at Old Jackson.
Old Jackson shrugged. “There’s no reason. You may leave…”
He commanded the soldiers, “Squad! Fall in. Dress right, dress. Ready, front. Dismiss!”
Nobody dared disobey his orders. They assembled promptly and left in their respective vehicles.
Warwick and Charles exchanged a glance. Albert was on pins and needles. The turn of events was too abrupt.
When Warwick and Charles turned to leave, Isaac called out, “Did I say you could leave?”
The dust had not settled. Albert bolted toward Beefy Bob and pulled Diana into his car.
Warwick tensed up as Isaac approached. He was bleeding from his mouth and nose. He looked around to realize the only one who could help snazzynovel.com at that moment was Albert.

On the car, Diana kept looking backward. Everything that happened today was like a dream.
